Nicholas L. Kottyan

Nicholas Kottyan has more than 25 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Prior to joining DataChambers he was president and chief executive officer of Peak 10, a leading data center solutions provider that he co-founded in late 1999.

Larry Robbins

Larry practices in the areas of venture capital, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, securities and tax. Larry represents entrepreneurs beginning with early start-ups and continuing through the initial public offering stage. Larry received his B.A., M.B.A., and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was also a Morehead Scholar at UNC.

Chris Matton is a partner in the Raleigh office practicing in the areas of corporate and securities law. Mr. Matton has worked with a wide variety of companies, ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies. These companies have been engaged in various industries, including life sciences, software, manufacturing, retailing, sports and entertainment and telecommunications. He has assisted them with debt and equity financings, public offerings of securities, 1934 Act disclosure obligations and other matters. Mr. Matton also regularly advises companies in the areas of corporate governance and operations.

With BellSouth, now AT&T North Carolina, for 34 years, Herb has been a Customer Services Manager, a Network Facilities Engineer, a Consumer Methods and Training Manager, an Economic Development Director, and a Regulatory and External Affairs Director.

With $60 million in sales, Alphanumeric Systems is a major player in today's business market by providing computer technology, training, support, and technical staff placement.


Dede F. Ramoneda

Dede Ramoneda is Vice President and CIO of Information Technology and Telecommunications at Progress Energy. Prior to being named CIO, Dede was Vice President, IT Systems Delivery and was responsible for leading the technology integration that successfully combined CP&L and Florida Progress Corporation.


Phyllis Bailey

Phyllis Bailey is a national keynote speaker and established industry leader in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. As Contingency Planning & Management’s 1999 Hall of Fame Nominee, the most prestigious honor in the industry, and a Certified Business Continuity Planning Professional, she brings over 18 years in the industry, combined with a 28-year background in information technology. Using her business management expertise, she has successfully managed all phases of disaster recovery and contingency planning from program development and project management, to supplier and contract negotiations.


Robert Hawkins, Jr.

Robert Hawkins, Jr. is the Vice President of North Carolina Operations at EMC Corporation, the world leader in products, services and solutions for information storage and management. In this role, he is responsible for strategic direction and day-to-day operations at EMC's manufacturing plant in Apex, with executive responsibility for the software development facility in RTP.
