
David Jones is co-founder, President & CEO of Peak 10, Inc. which is based in Charlotte, N.C. and was founded in the first quarter of 2000. David has assembled a talented management team which has worked together to build the industry's strongest balance sheet and income statement as well as a solid forecast for long-term growth and continued profitability as the company continues to expand existing data centers and enter into new markets. Today, the company is the leading independent data center operator and managed services provider in the United States, delivering scalable, economical and reliable information technology infrastructure solutions for its target growth SMB customers.
Peak 10 owns and operates world-class facilities in Atlanta, GA.; Richmond, VA.; Nashville, TN.; Cincinnati, OH.; Louisville, KY.; Tampa and Jacksonville, FL.: and Raleigh and Charlotte, N.C. Prior to forming Peak 10, David was President of the Competitive Solutions Group at CHR Solutions, a data and telecommunications management consulting firm based in Dallas, TX. He was a principal with Cathey, Hutton & Associates prior to its merger in 1999 with Hicks & Ragland Engineering, Inc. to form CHR Solutions.
David has over 25 years of combined executive leadership experience in sales, marketing and operations with GTE (Verizon), Telecom*USA, MCI and ITC Holding Company. His entrepreneurial experience and leadership was an integral part of the development and growth of Telecom*USA, a $1 billion national long distance services company which was acquired by MCI in 1990 and Interstate FiberNet, which was the facilities-based network company which is now ITC Deltacom.
A Virginia native, David holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and completed the Executive Development Business Program at George Washington University. David’s interests include outdoor fitness activities, cycling and running, with a long history of marathon racing, current ownership of a bicycle business and sponsorship of two professional racing teams.
