CIO Peer2Peer Meeting

Interest Network

What:  Managing the BYOD Movement
The quarterly meeting of the CIO Peer2Peer Network, is a forum for IT Leaders of companies, organizations, and public entities, to exchange information and best practices.  The meeting consists of networking and a roundtable discussion on a topic, selected by the participants.  Participants from Charlotte, the Triangle and beyond are connected utilizing Cisco's Telepresence and WebEx technology.

Discussion Topic:  Consumerization of IT is upon us, and there is not a better forum to be able to discuss both sides of this initiative.  The positives of improved productivity, scalability and cost savings drive the desire to let employees choose the devices they use at work.  While security and network compatibility and support concerns are reason for pause.
