Identify an issue you're passionate about and make a difference.  Participating on one (or more) of NCTA's networks gives our members the opportunity to work together to develop solutions to challenges and improvements to processes through action-oriented committees.  Active participation helps members build the North Carolina technology community and their businesses at the same time.  Keep reading for details on each council.

Provides an open forum for information sharing between vendors and state government representatives and is the primary source for vendor networking and information gathering. This Network will also seek dialogue with policy makers to gauge what challenges they face that technology might help solve, so that NCTA members can explore how best to offer potential solutions.  If your company sells to the state of North Carolina then you should participate.

Cyber Security Network

NCTA launched an exploratory Cyber Security Council in 2011. NCTA will work with members to determine which topics are of interest including: cloud computing,  mobility and managing the protection of sensitive data such as corporate data, intellectual property and consumer data. We will engage business experts and public sector leaders in helping to educate NCTA members so they might better prepare their companies, organizations and communities in mitigating ongoing IT security risks that they are sure to face in the future.
