The Kasie Capling Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Kasie Capling, a Charlotte WISE steering committee member who unexpectedly passed away in August 2005. The scholarship has been established to continue Kasie’s legacy of helping foster the careers of individuals in the fields of Information Technology and Engineering. The Kasie Capling Memorial Scholarship is presented to one female senior from Mecklenburg County who excels in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and will be attending college to continue her education.
