What: NCTA Gives Back
On July 27th, North Carolina Technology Association members participated in a statewide “NCTA Gives Back” community outreach event, the first sponsored by our organization. Members donated their time, talent and energy to volunteer with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central NC and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC. With this "NCTA Gives Back" event, our members supported hunger-relief efforts across the state and helped provide access to food to those who cannot afford it.
Members worked on a variety of projects at the Food Bank warehouses including:
• sorting donated food
• labeling cans
• repackaging product
• building pallets of food for our Partner Agencies
• processing eggs
• and more
Visit the NCTA Blog for pictures from this great first community outreach event.
