How to Join:

Please review the membership categories below to determine which most closely fits you or your organization. Then reference the chart to determine your level of investment. Memberships are annual, and run 12 months from the time that you join. Links to our Membership Form can be found above and in the left margin.

Membership Categories:

Technology Member: Company whose predominant business is the development and/or sale of technology products or services. (e.g. advanced manufacturing, computer hardware, electronics/devices, energy, internet services, software and telecommunications)

Technology Consumer Member: Company that utilizes technology to meet business objectives and serve customers, but whose predominant business is not technology or professional services. (e.g. banking, consumer goods, healthcare, industrial goods, life sciences/biotech and retail) * For this category the NC headcount range is based on IT workers only.

Associate Member: Company that provides professional services. (e.g., accounting, consulting, commercial real estate/development, legal, printing/fulfillment, PR, staffing and venture) ** Solo practioners, retired executives and professionals in transition who are not employed by an otherwise eligible company/organization may join as individuals in this category at a special rate per the chart below.

Affiliate Member: Public or nonprofit organization. (e.g., government agencies, nonprofit organizations, K-12 schools and college/university departments)

Out of State Member: A company/organization that has neither physical operations nor full time resident employees based in the state.

Fine Print:

Federal legislation requires NCTA to notify you in regard to the non-deductible percent of dues paid applied toward lobbying expenses. Our 2011 estimate indicates less than 11% of your dues are non-deductible for tax purposes.
