Keith Luedeman CEO goodmortgage.com |
In 1999, acting on an opportunity showing strong growth potential for the Internet mortgage market, Keith Luedeman founded goodmortgage.com. Keith’s business experience began with IBM, where he spent seven years after college working for the industry leader in a variety of technical and sales positions, and gaining the experience of launching the IBM Consulting Services Groups in North and South Carolina.
Duplicating the growth he had witnessed at IBM within a small company, Keith became instrumental in the growth of a Retail Services Technical Consulting Group from 20 to 100 and the launch of a new product. After the sale of this company, Keith became Director of Software Marketing for JBA when bought by Avnet, a $7-billion hardware, software and services firm.
Starting with a small investment, goodmortgage.com paced and self-funded its growth. Keith treated the company as a small business that had to succeed for the long-term instead of gambling on venture capital and a quick exit strategy. By focusing on growing, spending and hiring wisely, Keith has build a thriving lending leader whose presence is felt throughout the loan industry. While other mortgage lenders have struggled to survive, goodmortgage.com has seen sustained revenue growth, doubled its employee count and expanded into a state-of-the-art 44,000 square foot facility.
Keith has been a finalist three years for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for the Carolinas.
