Defense and Security Technology Accelerator (DSTA)
The Defense and Security Technology Accelerator (DSTA), located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a new and innovative program designed to create collaborations with the military, entrepreneurs and innovators that will drive technology business development, technology commercialization, and job creation. This program will leverage two unique assets in North Carolina: the military bases in the Fayetteville/Cumberland County area, and the world-class research and innovation in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) and other regions in the state. The DSTA will operate as a business incubator assisting entrepreneurs with generating new, just-in-time security and defense technology solutions to meet the military’s technology needs, as well as business demands. By providing specialized expertise, technology business assistance, technical resources and a network of valuable relationships, the DSTA will assist entrepreneurs and innovators with developing new businesses and dual use technologies.
Infragard
InfraGard is a cooperative undertaking between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants that is dedicated to increasing the security of the critical infrastructures of the United States of America. NCTA is a strong supporter of this program.

The Council of Regional Information Technology Associations (CRITA) represents nearly 50 IT trade organizations who in turn represent more than 22,000 technology-related companies in the Americas. CRITA's initiatives are focused on supporting the Information Technology industry through its member organizations.

North Carolina Department of Commerce
When it was established, the Department of Commerce (DOC) consisted almost entirely of regulatory agencies and the Employment Security Commission. While those responsibilities continue to be a very important part of DOC's role in state government, the department over the years has evolved into the state's lead agency for economic and community development. The department promotes a wide variety of opportunities to improve the economy of the entire Tar Heel State, rural and urban areas alike. Raleigh Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit business organization representing the interests of 2,600 companies throughout the Raleigh/Wake County area. Research Triangle Foundation
The Park encompasses 7,000 acres of North Carolina pine forest and has approximately 1,100 acres for development. It currently houses more than 100 research and development facilities which employ over 38,500 Triangle residents. The combined annual salaries in RTP amount to over $1.2 billion dollars.
