Mission Statement

In order for North Carolina to compete in a global marketplace, we must move to an integrated vision of success in the Knowledge economy.  This vision begins by providing a child in K-12 education with the learning tools and curriculum of the modern world.  These essential educational tools will build the foundation and provide opportunity to various paths of economic stability and prosperity.  

The next step will include matching North Carolina's innovation assets and its Knowledge businesses with relevant local and global opportunities. Finally, this vision requires policies that create a culture that supports entrepreneurial growth and established businesses.  NCTA is in the best position to marshal resources to implement this vision.  The INC campaign is vital in allowing NCTA to make this innovation vision a success.
