The North Carolina Technology Association is a membership organization that is open to all companies, regardless of their industry, that are located in North Carolina. NCTA serves our members by hosting numerous technology events throughout the year. We want our members to stay informed on the latest technology trends and have the opportunity to get out and network with other members.
We hold two main types of technology events:
Through participation in NCTA’s technology events, your company or organization can increase its brand awareness while broadening industry knowledge. In addition, as a member you’ll have the opportunity to network with others and add to your own contacts within the state’s tech community.
An NCTA signature technology event, our Leadership Retreat is by invitation only. Bringing together the state’s technology leaders, members will have the opportunity to network with key decision makers to discuss industry trends and peripheral issues.
By contrast, Outlook for IT is a signature technology event open to all members and includes the NCTA annual meeting as well as an exhibit showcase and presentation.
Series technology events take place periodically throughout the state and include Thought Leaders, Techworking, and the NC Tech Tour just to name a few. Thought Leaders is a series designed to facilitate candid discussion while featuring inspirational presentations by thoughtful, motivational speakers. Techworking brings members together to network in a casual social setting and NC Tech Tour travels the whole state over in an effort to highlight its membership and the impact each has on the vibrancy of North Carolina’s tech sector.
The culmination of the year’s technology events, the NC Tech Awards, is North Carolina’s only statewide award recognizing those companies and individuals in the tech sector who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and leadership.
Most of the technology events we hold are open to members only. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member click here. If you are already a member and have questions pertaining to any event please email Marc Montoro.
